Nancy Winkelmann Mayfield is the owner of N/W Creative Interiors. After graduating from Mississippi College with a degree in Interior Design, Nancy moved to the West Coast, working for the next 10 years in well-established interior design firms in both Seattle and San Francisco. This invaluable experience in California influenced Nancy’s personal design aesthetic, while also giving her insight into all business practices of interior design.
In 2016, Nancy returned to her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi, where she launched N/W Creative Interiors. Deeply dedicated to making interior design approachable, Nancy believes that working with a design professional should be an enjoyable experience. As the mom of an active 5-year-old and two precious but often messy dogs, Nancy appreciates an aesthetic that evokes beauty without sacrificing livability. Each project—a single room, a renovation, or a new construction—deserves the expertise of a trusted professional who listens to the client’s particular lifestyle.
The N/W Creative Interior process is a full-service approach and includes all aspects of design such as AutoCAD floorplans, lighting, and custom built-ins as well as furniture selection and placement. Nancy works closely with clients, contractors, and architects to deliver a complete design strategy, creating spaces that are functional, stylish, and as unique as the people who live in them.
